40 Drivers Ticketed for Violating Expanded Odd-even Policy

Along with the police, army and Samsat, we continue to monitor and control the offenders

The North Jakarta Police traffic unit has ticketed 40 vehicles for violating the expanded odd-even license plate traffic police from Jalan Gunung Sahari, Pademangan, North Jakarta, on Monday (9/9).

"This policy is implemented into two shifts at 6 AM-10 AM and 4 PM-9 PM every Monday until Friday, except national holidays," said North Jakarta Police Traffic Unit Chief, AKBP Agung Pitoyo.

To optimize it, tens of officers have been deployed to the location.

North Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency Head, Benhard Hutajulu said it is accordance with Gubernatorial Decree number 88/2019 on Amendments to Governor Decree number 155/2018 on Restrictions on Traffic with Odd-Even System.

Thus far, it is only implemented on Jalan Gunung Sahari up to two kilometers, precisely from Bintang Mas Traffic Light until the border of Central Jakarta, the railway tracks.

"Along with the police, army and Samsat, we continue to monitor and control the offenders," he said.
